Fill In the Blanks

If you google "South Hill Spokane" the first result will be a Wikipedia entry titled Neighborhoods in Spokane, Washington.  The Wikipedia entry is divided into two main categories, North Side and South Hill, and then there are sub-categories for indivual neighborhoods, such as Hillyard, Logan, Rockwood and Manito/Cannon Hill.

However, there are many neighborhoods that have no information filled in.  The South Hill neighborhoods in need of information are Cliff/Cannon, Lincoln Heights, Latah/Hangman Valley and Southgate.  Rockwood also has very little information.

Wikipedia is an interactive, on-line encyclopedia that relies on the public to add information.  It also appears to be the only website that has a description of each neighborhood in Spokane.  If your neighborhood has no information, consider adding a few lines to Wikipedia about what makes your neighborhood unique and a good place to live.  It can be your good deed of the day--you will be helping anyone considering a move to Spokane to decide what neighborhood would best suit them.

The public can also help to edit or correct inaccurate information on Wikipedia, which leads to the question of whether all the neighborhoods listed under the South Hill category really belong in that category?  Is Browne's Addition part of the South Hill?  How about Grandview/Thorpe, Peaceful Valley or Riverside?  Where does the "South Hill" begin and end?  Are the categories "Northside" and "South Hill" too broad?  Weigh in by leaving a comment below.
