Looking for an Easter Service to attend this Sunday? Rather than try and include every service on the South Hill like I do for Christmas Eve, I decided to do a very short list with churches that I am familiar with for Easter:
1) Manito United Methodist Church (33rd & Grand)
Outdoor sunrise service at 6:30am
Easter Breakfast from 8-10am, donations accepted and will help provide camp scholarships
Worship service at 10:30am
Indoor Easter egg hunt for elementary-age children following the service
MUMC recently got a new pastor and focuses on ministering to families.
2) First Presbyterian Church (3rd & Walnut)
Sunrise service at 6:30am in the Manito Park Picnic Shelter (17th & Grand)
Worship services at the church at 8:45am, 11:15am & 5:00pm
FPC has a large and vibrant congregation, with many opportunities for connecting to the church community.
3) Emmaus Church (12th & Perry)
Worship service at 10:03am
Emmaus is co-sponsoring the South Perry Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 7 at Grant Park (10th & Perry) from 10:30am to 12pm.
Emmaus has a diverse congregation and an outward focus on serving the community.
